Our County Today is free to read and has no accounts. Here is what may happen when you visit, and what you can do about it.
Recognizing visitors
We and our partners may use cookies, device information and third-party identity-resolution services to recognize visitors to this site and, where available, match a visit to an email address.
That work is done by Audience AI, the service that runs our newsletters, and its partners. What you read here also helps Audience AI learn which local stories and events interest you, so the newsletter gets better.
Emails we may send
If a visit is matched to an email address, we may email that address the latest edition of your county’s Our County Today newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time, from any email we send, using the unsubscribe link in it.
Vendor pages and offer forms
Some sponsored offer cards embed a booking page from the vendor, such as a salon’s scheduling widget. When that page loads, the vendor’s own site may collect information under its own policy, in the same way it would if you opened it directly. Our County Today does not decide what the vendor’s page collects.
Some offer cards carry a form. What you type into that form, together with your consent, goes to the advertiser through Audience AI, the service that runs our newsletters. Audience AI keeps form submissions for up to 90 days, then deletes them.
