Statewide Survey Shows Strong Perceptions of UW
- A new statewide survey finds that large majorities of Wyoming residents hold favorable views of the University of Wyoming, with 87 percent saying it appeals extremely or quite well to Wyoming students and their families.
- The biennial election-year survey, conducted by the Wyoming Survey and Analysis Center, drew 660 responses from randomly selected Wyoming adults between Sept. 29 and Oct. 25, with a margin of error of plus or minus 4.7 percentage points.
- UW President Shane Reeves said the results show strong public confidence at a time when higher education nationally is losing it.
