Starworld students shine at regional championship
- Students from Goodyear-based Starworld Martial Arts Academy competed at the World Tang Soo Do Association Region 2 Championship at Ability360 in Phoenix.
- Four Starworld students won Black Belt Grand Champion Cup titles and the academy's demonstration team placed first in its division.
- Master Johnny Williamson said the win was notable because his team was made up entirely of children and teenagers, while many competing schools fielded adults.
- He said the greater reward is the confidence, discipline and character the students are developing.
