New mural unveiled at Junct’n Square Pizza celebrates Western Slope community
- A new mural was unveiled this weekend at Junct'n Square Pizza in Grand Junction after two months of work.
- Local artist Taylor Castro created the piece, which was inspired by the Western Slope and the welcoming feel of an Italian town square.
- The artwork includes Mount Garfield, peaches, vineyards and other details paying tribute to Mesa County.
- Castro said she hopes the mural makes visitors feel loved and welcomed, and that community support has been overwhelming.
