Schizophonics tried to ‘capture the live feel’ on ‘Burning Floor,’ the band’s first album in four years
- San Diego rock band the Schizophonics released their first album in four years, 'Burning Floor,' this week, their debut on the Alternative Tentacles label.
- The trio is in the middle of a month-long headlining North American tour supporting the record, which wraps up Oct. 22 in Los Angeles.
- Singer Pat Beers said the album was recorded fast, with the band playing the songs live in the studio after returning from a European tour.
- No San Diego dates are on the current tour, but Beers said the band has tentative plans to play two nights at the Casbah in late January.
