San Diego daycare gets new washing machine after NBC 7 Responds steps in
- A San Diego daycare spent $1,400 on a commercial washing machine that developed rust inside just months after purchase, leaving stains on children's laundry.
- The Children's Growing Center, which serves about 75 to 80 families, had to wash items at other locations while trying to resolve the problem with manufacturer General Electric.
- After NBC 7 Responds contacted GE, the company replaced the machine entirely, and the daycare says the new one has been working perfectly.
