La Jolla Vikings football: ‘It’s playoff football from here on’
- The La Jolla Vikings football team is treating the rest of its season as a playoff run after a rough 2-4 start.
- Defensive coordinator Stephen Dixon and assistant Chris Velez say the team needs a playoff mentality to finish strong.
- The Vikings will close their Eastern League schedule against Christian High, San Diego High, and rival University City.
- All teams now make the postseason playoffs based on overall rankings, so La Jolla's finish will shape its seeding.
