Seven Girl Scouts from 4S Ranch earn the Gold Award
- Seven Girl Scouts from 4S Ranch were among 53 young women honored by Girl Scouts San Diego with the Gold Award this summer, the organization's highest recognition.
- The honorees' projects ranged from teaching financial literacy at a local elementary school to building a health data platform for clinics in Zambia and running poetry workshops through San Diego-area libraries.
- Several recipients said the award capped years of work and taught them leadership, persistence and how to create lasting community impact.
