San Diego gets another transatlantic nonstop. It’s a first
- Air France announced it will launch San Diego's first regular nonstop service to Paris next summer, the fourth nonstop route linking the city to major European destinations.
- Flights begin May 3 and run through October, three times a week between San Diego International Airport and Paris-Charles de Gaulle.
- Airport officials say the route reflects growing transatlantic demand and years of lobbying by local organizations, and it comes with airport fee rebates worth roughly $3 million to the airline.
