‘We’re always students’ — Arts District Liberty Station welcomes new cohort of regional dancers for residencies
- Arts District Liberty Station has selected four regional dancers for its 11-month Emerging Artists Residency Program, running through May 2027.
- The residents receive free studio space and mentorship, and each must stage at least four public activations.
- Diane Campaña, a San Diego-born artist who grew up in Tijuana, is building work from her hours-long border commute, while the program's organizers say the cohort's binational character reflects a reality border communities have long lived.
